Homeopathy is a system of medicine that understands the connection between the body, mind and spirit.
Health is seen as not just the absence of disease, but a state of vitality and well-being. It allows the healing power of nature to treat illness and promotes wellness by safe and gentle means.
The body is generally well balanced. If an imbalance occurs in one particular area, it usually has an effect on other areas of the body as well. When symptoms present themselves, it is not enough to just treat those symptoms. Other areas that may be affected by the imbalance can be identified and steps taken to mitigate many other potential problems.
A body that is unhealthy or unwell will eventually have an effect on mental well-being. Symptoms that are distressing or ongoing, such as anxiety or stress, can impact the body at a deeper and physical level.
Homeopathy is a wonderful safe and natural medicine which stimulates the body and vital force to re-balance and heal itself.
It’s not unusual to feel a sense of well-being, optimism and relaxation after taking homeopathic medicine. The speed with which you feel relief will depend on the condition.
Homeopathy with Mandy Hyde
Mandy’s passion and enthusiasm for homeopathy began after she was successfully treated for hyper-thyroidism in my mid-twenties. It was so severe, that at one stage doctors claimed it was incurable. However Mandy has not experienced ANY symptoms in the 20 years since using homeopathy.
Fifteen years ago Mandy studied homeopathy for four years to qualify as a professional homeopath. Her fascination with and learning about the subject continue to this day.
Mandy runs two practices serving South Hams in Devon and surrounding areas; Kingsbridge, Ivybridge, South Brent, Totnes, Ashburton, Loddiswell, Slapton and Dartmouth.
Mandy’s Gloucestershire practice based on Black Jack Street in Cirencester also covers surrounding areas such as Fairford, Poulton, Swindon, Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Prior to being a full time practicing homeopath Mandy was employed as a TV Executive working for the BBC and for a number of smaller independent production companies. Operating in a high pressure and stressful industry taught me the importance and value of good health.
Mandy is passionate about Holistic Medicine and Complementary Therapies and what they can offer in an ever more complex and changing world.
