Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a skill that develops the mind in the same way exercise develops the muscles in your body. It helps you to live fully present in the moment and provides mental training for better wellbeing and resilience.
By coming to a class, you will develop mindfulness skills whilst being supported in a safe and nurturing environment. We will be doing breathing exercises, meditations, gentle movement to reconnect with our body following a stress based reduction programme (MBSR)
It’s very gentle and easy to follow, you don’t need to be ‘good at it’.
Mindfulness helps you to become compassionate to yourself and others (which we can all do with right now!)
You may have a busy mind, hectic schedules and lots of plates to juggle. Find out what it’s all about and see how it can help you ‘develop more time’ by reducing anxiety and stress.
